Ah the same ol' gripe no to low rains. Just two days ago, the skies erupted, flashed and rolled so hard we woke up in the middle of the night hearing the sounds. That our house is nestled in a L-shaped conclave and so even the rustling wind creates a cyclone like sound, does not help matters. The lightning that night sounded like sharp sparks and the thunder like a bomb blast. I woke up thinking that the transformer near our apartments had burst. I cuddled up with my family to sleep that night. And now two days since, its all a distant dream. Dark clouds gather but don't rain, they just keep teasing n teasing. I am yearning to feel lots of wet raindrops cool the dry, sunbaked earth.
