Irritating people.....

Aargh........ damn irritating. I had to deal with this fella who just wouldn't speak up straight. I just hate people who don't have the guts to speak straight, who just keep on mincing words, going round and round in circles but won't come to the heart of the matter ( after all thats for the listener to guess, decipher !!!). They think they are being witty, trying to play safe, and keep dropping subtle hints (so subtle we might as well end up playing dumb charades !!!); and then expect us to listen and guess what they are trying to say, discover the hidden meanings. Just about anything but say it straight.

I say if they don't have the guts to say it straight then they shouldn't be saying it in the first place. They have no earthly right to drive people up the wall. Generally I tend to end up yelling "Damn it just say it lay it bare, I am no psychic, I can't read minds". But, with this guy, well I had to get my work done, so I patiently half heard, half ignored, hazarded my own guesses and just about managed to get it done with, while more than half the time my hands were itching to throttle and shake him. People wear masks all the time to hide what they feel inside and this certainly required quite an effort.
