Fun, play and then some work

Been having some really busy weeks. First went to a water park with friends and had a wild time (a well deserved break!). I also chickened out of two water slides, one with a sheer 3 floor drop…… wasn’t feeling that bravado! Then later in the week I saw a play, Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” directed by Tim Supple. It was an experimental play with the cast, an ensemble from Sri Lanka, India and UK and was multilingual. The characters spoke in 7 different languages…. each language in the purest form, a creatively used set and props. It was humorous, well presented…….an enjoyable, memorable evening. And then I got immersed nose deep in work. Changing times ahead at work…..with the end of an academic year, people moving in and out, new responsibilities assigned. Plenty to keep a busy head hooked.
