Think about it.......

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Fell prey to the ...err...magic...

Brought the book yesterday and curled up with it the whole day today. Have to admit J.K. Rowling is an amazing writer. Typical of all epic finales this too has its fair share of feuds, twists and endings. It is the closure that she brings in this book, the emotional catharsis, the winding up, thats so different. Almost all the favourite characters (readers) make an appearance atleast once through the book. The book has been written keeping the reader in mind. The pace alternates between slow to suddden highs with twists in the tale thrown to keep the reader glued. She plays well with the readers emotions and even after so many main characters bumped off manage to keep their interests and hopes alive. The fault, the 'chink' is that compared to her previous books this sounds more like a movie script. Like Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code, some of the twists are predictable and the action is way too cinematic. Also, as compared to her first books that typically had a message to pass to its readers, here the message is all lost in the plot and action, it is far too sublime. Still essentially in all she has a brilliant writing style and it would be absolute waste of talent if the author decides this to be her last book. Surely she can create more characters besides Harry Potter. How about some based in the 'Muggle' world.
Ps: My favs were book 1, 4 and 5.
