Been quite busy again as usual……and been reading plenty too.…just light reads...... a few P.G. Wodehouses (quite refreshing)….read a few Agatha Christies…. and a few other forgettable ones. Then I read Wilt by Tom Sharp. A partly satirical story about a frustrated with life couple. There is a college lecturer named Wilt who makes plans of killing his wife. His wife is into meditation, yoga, pottery and such to get over the boredom of living. The wife is influenced by a lesbian women’s strange feminist views and after a staged misunderstanding with husband goes away with the women. The husband is meanwhile accused of murdering his wife……there is a lot of hilarious mayhem …..…leading to finally the couple reconciling. A good writer, it was an good and easy read. Gets wordy at times, but generally ok. Worth a read. Finished the book in 3 hrs straight.
