Think about it.......

And life goes on...........

Its back to life as usual (or as I knew it), mercifully recovering, no more ill, and definitely no more nightmares..........whew!

But then life does go on no matter whether you are ill or healthy, sad or happy.......this short illness made me wait and look around, and living at the height where I live there is not much to look around except treetops and other houses..........and since most houses are empty during the day...........the next best thing was the tree tops, and hey what do you know, its the nesting season (of course if there is such a thing as nesting season!).
What I mean is .........I was bird watching!, or rather watching their nests!

Out from our living room window two majestically tall coconut trees can be seen standing, and now a few crow couples have made it into their nursery (the pale greenish speckled eggs look lovely) , that combined with the pigeons who have hatched their fresh batch of babies (in our tiny flowering pot as usual!) had me enough 'nest watching' for some time. The pigeons are our usual freeloaders so we don't disturb them much, the crow nests were a pleasant sight tho (its the first time I am seeing them). Two of the nests already had young grayish chicks.

In the span of two days I saw another brood being hatched, one more nest being made and one family (umm.......couple?) lose their babies too (yes!).......that I am not sure why......but one day the chicks were there and the next day gone.....someone said that they just might have fallen off, the nest seemed to be poorly made, they must be first time parents possibly.
................and it is not just the crows who lose their chicks.............the pigeons who keep laying their eggs in our tiny flowering pot don't realise that the pot barely holds enough space for one. Most of the time of the two eggs that hatch eventually one chick is pushed off by another and only one survives to grow up to adulthood.
(anybody wanna start a parenting class for birds!)

Well as I was saying life does go on, for the birds it pretty well did! and for most people I know too...............so next time you are sick (my sympathies with you) find a good past time, avoid nightmares, and maybe, just maybe, u could watch the birds!
